There are 2 methods of reporting and reconciliation of the Invoices for C5 reporting:
- Analytic Report
Analytic Report
- Under the Analytic Report module, user can find a "C5 Report" option. In this option, user can click on a report called "C5 Reconsiliation Report". (Fig 1)
- User can select the date range option to list down the Invoices and Credit Notes with the transaction dates fall within the date range selected. And click on "Display: C5 Reconsiliation Report".
- A report will be generated. A sample of the report is shown as follows (Fig 2). Note that besides PDF, this report can also be exported to an Excel file.
- In the report, it shows the different types of transactions details and a C5 UUID column which shows the C5 Acknowledgement UUIDs.
- If the C5 UUID shows "Failed or not submitted", this will mean that the invoice is either not sent or failed to reach C5. User therefore need to go to Sales or Purchase management modules to inquire for the invoice, review and resend.
On-Screen Inquiry
- This is an effective way to reconcile C5 report submissions.
- Under the Sales and Purchase Management modules, click on the C5 Sales/Supp Trans Reconciliation option.
- Select a customer (or All Customers), specify the date range, and click on Refresh Search. The transaction details will be displayed (See Fig 3).
- In the C5 Ack UUID column, if the field is blank, it indicates that no C5 Acknowledgement UUID has been received, meaning the invoice or credit note was not successfully transmitted to C5.
- To view more details, click on the transaction number under the # column. The full invoice details will be displayed (See Fig 3A).
